2013_4_30_berghoff.jpg Berghoff Brewery, whose plans to relaunch the brand we wrote about back in April, will debut the new brews at a party on Thursday.

The launch event, held on June 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sheffield's, will feature all Berghoff beers for $5 on draft. Here's what you can taste.

Reppin’ Red Ale, Malt & Rye (formerly Berghoff Red), features blend of rye and toasted malts with prominent American hops. Dortwunder Lager (re-branded from the dark lager), is a classic session lager in the Dortmunder style.

Other beers include Solstice Wit Beer, which is made with Calamansi juice and spices; Straight Up Hefeweizen; and Germaniac Extra Pale Ale, which is the first in Berghoff’s new Überbier Series. The beer is brewed with honey and molasses and is a briskly hopped extra pale ale patterned after the old “outlaw” beer style, Kottbüsser.

To pad your stomach, Sheffeld's will be offering pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken tacos, with a side, for $10 each.
