Keith Cozart, 17, appeared at the courthouse in Skokie to plead guilty to driving 110 mph on the Edens Expressway. As he left the courthouse, he was served with a second paternity suit, then he was arrested by Chicago Police officers on the trespassing charge.
On top of the charge for driving 110 mph in a 55 mph zone, Keef was also cited for having an unlawful number of passengers in his car because his driver's permit only allows for one other passenger. Keef was fined $531, placed on 18 months probation, ordered 60 hours of community service, eight hours of traffic school and random drug testing. The judge wasn't so kind to him verbally, and he said, "If I were you, I wouldn't take this deal if you can't follow these conditions." The Tribune writes:
"You think you're invincible, and you're certainly not," said Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg. "Violate (conditions of the plea agreement) and you'll find out you're not. I sure hope I don't see you again, because if I do you better be ready to go to jail."
