Music

As of post time there are still plenty of seats available for tonight's performance by cellist Ian Maskin and the popular local flamenco troupe Las Guitaras de Espana at City Winery. We've written enough about Las Guitaras before, but their teaming up with Maskin, one of the few contemporary cellists performing flamenco and other international music styles, is certain to be a treat within the stellar acoustics of City Winery's music room. (1200 W. Racine, 8 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.)

Festival

Celebrate World Refugee Day June 22 at the Foster Beach soccer fields from noon until 4 p.m. The United Nations formed World Refugee Day to honor the courage, determination and strength of men, women and children forced to flee their homelands to avoid persecution and violence. There will be a potluck lunch, youth activities, music and a soccer tournament.
