Pencil This In: PAWS Chicago 36-Hour Adopt-A-Thon; Marvin Tate's D-Settlement Reunites; Bronzeville Art District Trolley Tour

PAWS Chicago's 36-hour adopt-a-thon is now underway and will run through 11 p.m. June 22. This would be an ideal time for potential pet owners to find a pet from Chicago's largest no-kill animal shelter. More than 150 kittens, puppies, cats and dogs are waiting to be adopted. (1997 N. Clybourn Ave.)
Music
Marvin Tate's D-Settlement, one of the funkiest and most eclectic bands Chicago has ever produced, is reuniting for a 9 p.m. show tonight at Tac's Lounge (5114 S. Prairie Ave.). Here's hoping the band is still in fine form as it's been close to a decade since they've played together.
Art Tour
South side art aficionados should consider checking out the Bronzeville Art Trolley Tous 6-10 p.m. June 22. The tour will visit Gallery Guichard (3521 S. King Dr.), South Side Community Art Center (3831 S. Michigan Ave.), Radclife and Elliott Hunter International Art Gallery (3800 S. Michigan Ave.), Faie African Art (1005 E. 43rd St.), and Blanc Gallery (4455 S. King Dr.). Donations are accepted.
