Chicagoist Weekend Theater: D&B On Overpass Chicago (Circa 1957)

This week's extended clip comes courtesy of the Chicago Film Archives Margaret Conneely Collection. Margaret Conneely was a noted amateur filmmaker whose collected works span from 1949 - 1982.

This 40-minute short, titled "D&B on Overpass," follows two teenage children spending a day by a river, but viewers will get a detailed look at the industry that spurred Chicago's early to mid-20th century growth.
