Photos & Video: Lincoln Park Zoo's Geriatric Chimpanzees Celebrate Birthdays

Two elderly chimpanzees at Lincoln Park Zoo celebrated their birthdays today with 750-pound ice cakes packed with veggies and fruit. Keo is 55 years old, the oldest male chimpanzee in a zoo. Vickie is 50 years old.
According to the Lincoln Park Zoo, the median life expectancy for a male chimp is 31.7 years, and for a female chimp it is 38.7 years. In "human years," they'd be in their nineties.
