Fox Chicago reporters Anna Davlantes and Corey McPherrin tried Malort on air, sealing the bitter liqueur's graduation from cult classic to mainstream spirit. A representative for Jeppson's clarified how the spirit became connected to the Blackhawks: It is distributed by Wirtz Beverages. By the way, they don't clarify in the video, but the image of Malort being poured into the Stanley Cup is maybe photoshopped and definitely from 2010.
