Things have come full circle. Or at least full... something. In Bridgeport, beer lovers go to Maria's, get a seat, head over to Pleasant House Bakery and get some pies. Now, Pleasant House Bakery is going to be brewing their own beer at their new location. Someday, Chicagoans will be able to drive to Michigan, get the beer, bring it back and drink it while eating Pleasant House pies. Progress!

Janet Rausa Fuller reports that the new Three Oaks location of Pleasant House (which we reported on earlier in the year) is going to include a brewery. They'll only be brewing four types at first, so this isn't a huge operation. Plus, no bottles - you'll only be able to get this beer at the new restaurant.

The flagship beer? "A "malt-forward, easy-drinking ESB, or Extra Special Bitter."
