We expect it to be a short day around here as folks head out on the road for the Independence Day holiday and others make a beeline for Indiana to buy fireworks. The forecast from Skilling Central has us in store for more mild and wet conditions, so make sure your charcoal is covered and not getting soggy. That's the last thing you need. But this will be the last cool day for a while as things warm up quick and become more July-like in short order.
