Pencil This In: Classic Movies In The Park

There are a ton of events happening today outdoors, weather permitting. Film buffs that we are, we're having a hard time choosing between two Movies in the Parks screenings tonight. Northerly Island Park (1521 S. Linn White Drive) is set to host a screening of E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial. Further south at Rainbow Beach Park (3111 E. 77th Street) the Park District is set to roll Lean on Me.

Decisions, decisions. Do we head to Northerly Island to see a Steven Spielberg Classic or do we venture out south to see Morgan Freeman in one of his powerful performances, before he became the "Voice of God" and every movie that needs a narrator.
