Schedule For A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party Announced

The A.V. Club and Hideout announced the lineup for this year's A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party in May and, while we're stoked to see Mavis Staples, Neko Case, Young the Giant, The Hold Steady and other bands scheduled to perform, now we have a schedule to plan around.

The main attractions—Staples and Case—will play Sept. 6 with Case headlining. Trampled by Turtles and Nude Beach are also on the bill. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. on the 6th.

Young the Giant headlines the Block Party Sept. 7, with The Hold Steady, Superchunk, The Walkmen, The Both (Aimee Mann and Ted Leo), Jon Langford, Girl Group Chicago Featuring The Revelettes, and Vision Celestial Guitarkestra performing prior. Gates open on the 7th at 12:30 p.m.

Two-day passes for the festival are on sale now at fest.avclub.com. Single day passes (and we assume they'll be in high demand for the Friday lineup) will go on sale at a future date.
