Pencil This In: PAWS Chicago's 11th Annual Beach Party; Tom Palozzolo Exhibit At Co-Prosperity Sphere

Bill Kurtis emcees PAWS Chicago's 11th annual Beach Party at Castaways on North Avenue Beach, July 18 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy dancing on deck, cool cocktails, a beachy dinner buffet and a silent auction, all while enjoying a sunset overlooking the spectacular lakefront and city skyline view. Canine attendees will be able to visit the "Pup Deck," where they will be treated to doggie massages, paw-di-cures and doggie "pup-cakes." Tickets are available online.

Art

You have until July 21 to catch the Tom Palozzolo retrospective at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. Palozzolo, a 1965 graduate of the Art Institute, is equally adept in the mediums of film, photographs, paintings, watercolors and sculpture and is heavily influenced by outsider art, surrealism and street art.
