An angry man beat a store owner on the Northwest Side on Tuesday because the shop didn't carry enormous tank tops. That could be the reason, or it could be that the customer had some rage issues. After all, he was already carrying a baseball bat.

The Sun-Times writes:

The man walked into the store in the 5500 block of West Belmont Avenue about 11 a.m. and asked the owner for 3XL tank tops, Chicago Police said. When the owner said he did not have any in that size, the customer pulled out a baseball bat and beat the owner with it, police said.

The store clerk, 51, was treated for lacerations and released. The attacker fled, and police say they have a vague description of the suspect, but no one in custody.
