Today's Weather: Hot Out There

Welcome to the midweek, everyone, which means not only are we halfway to another weekend, but we're almost done with this current run of hot, muggy weather. Heat indices across Chicago are expected to cross the 100-degree mark, with actual temperatures in the mid-90s. That's hot, but nowhere near as brutal as the weather we went through this time last year.
There's also an increasing chance for thunderstorms today, with scattered showers beginning as early as late morning and rain in the cards for 20-30 percent of the greater Chicago area. We should be able to play softball tonight, Chicagoistos!
