Today's Weather: Roasting

Drink extra water today and check on people who need it, folks. The Chicago area is under a heat advisory from 11 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m. Friday. High temperatures are expected to top out in the mid- to upper-90s with heat indices reaching well past the 100-degree mark. Above us we'll have plenty of clear skies and sunshine throughout the day, but clouds should form Thursday night as we're in store for some strong thunderstorms overnight and Friday. And Pitchfork Fest couldn't kick off without some hot and humid weather with a chance of rain.
