Announcements: Time Out Chicago Hires Amy Cavanaugh As Its New Food Editor
By Anthony Todd in Food on Jul 19, 2013 6:20PM
It is with great sadness that I must announce the loss of our dear weekend editor and resident foodie, Amy Cavanaugh. Time Out Chicago announced today what some of us have known for a while—Amy is headed over there.
She'll be taking over as Dining Editor from Julia Kramer, who left for Bon Appetit earlier this year. Amy has worked as a travel writer, a food writer and an arts and culture writer for publications like Serious Eats, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, Citysearch, Plate Magazine and the Washington Post. We couldn't be more more thrilled for Amy, though we'll miss her in-depth writing and food geekery over here and at all of the other outlets that she worked for over the years.
