Today's Weather: Stick A Fork In It

It wouldn't seem right to kick off Pitchfork Music Fest without oppressive heat and a good chance for showers and that's what's in store for those of you heading to Union Park this evening. The Chicago area is still under a heat advisory until 7 p.m. with heat indices in the most humid parts reaching 105 degrees. The thunderstorms will move in sometime this afternoon, carried by gusty southwest winds that could reach 30 mph. Some of these storms may bring hail.
As long as Björk doesn't melt in the heat, all is fine.
