Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick paid up his bet to cover the Boston Bruins' loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup finals. Patrick, a Chicago native, volunteered alongside Gov. Pat Quinn at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. See tweets and photos from their time sorting pears below.
While the two governors bet community service hours, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Boston Mayor Tom Menino bet the usual swag showcasing one another's cities. There's no word on whether Menino paid up on his end yet.
