We're into the home stretch for July, folks and we have some storms on the way today to go with the mild temperatures we've been enjoying this week. Those showers, according to Skilling Central, could affect over 60 percent of the greater Chicago area. Then the winds are expected to shift to the northwest and cool things down overnight. Saturday's predicted high mark may not even reach 70. Wearing sweatshirts in late July? It's unnatural.
