It's no secret that Chicago has a very serious relationship with craft beer and breweries. And while the Chicago Beer Festival and Chicago Craft Beer Week have come and gone, those who are still looking to squeeze in one more festival before the leaves change colors will be happy to know that Logan Square will hold its first-ever beer festival on September 21, 2013.

The one-day event, spearheaded by beer enthusiasts Dave Watts and Marcus Osacky, will boast forty different beers from twenty different breweries from all around the country.

The Logan Square Beer Festival will be held at Logan Square Auditorium (which happens to be owned by Osacky's family) from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. (VIP ticket holders can access the festival an hour early).

As for the beer selection, the festival founders are planning on having some special brews on tap in addition to some of the more "standard" beers offered by the breweries currently signed on to participate in the festival:

"We're looking for each brewery to bring one of their regular seasonal beers and a specialty beer like a collaboration or cask-conditioned or barrel-aged beer, something you could only get at this fest," Watts said. "It's going to be a real craft beer lovers' fest."

Standard tickets are $45 each and VIP tickets are $55 each. Tickets and more information can be found at the festival's website. Only 600 tickets will be sold for the event, so get your tickets now before they sell out!

Logan Square Auditorium is located at 2539 N. Kedzie Blvd, Chicago, IL 60647. Needless to say, you must be 21 years of age or older to attend the festival.
