Ride The Four Star Bike & Chow

The former Boulevard Bike Tour has taken on a new life in recent years since its re-branding as the Four Star Bike & Chow. Yet it remains one of the more ambitious and best bike rides in Chicago.

From its starting point at the University of Illinois-Chicago, the Four Star Bike & Chow has routes for all levels of rider, ranging from a 12-mile along the lakefront and Lincoln Park to a 62-mile "ultimate neighborhood" route where cyclists can bike through the North Side and suburbs to the Chicago Botanic Garden and back.

For riders tackling the longer routes, there's plenty of food for refueling along the way. Red Apple Buffet is serving pierogi, Star of Siam will be doling out Thai food, Smoke Daddy has BBQ pork mini sliders and Arya Bhavan brings their baked samosas to the party.
