For Sale: The House Where Cameron Frye Totaled His Dad's Ferrari

By Samantha Abernethy in Arts & Entertainment on Aug 7, 2013 9:00PM

Cameron's home from Ferris Bueller's Day Off is for sale, priced at $1.5 million. Located in suburban Highland Park, the home is also known as the Ben Rose house, as it has always been owned by the Rose family. The house has been put on the market several times since 2009 when Francis Rose died. It was originally priced at $2.3 million.

It's also an architectural gem. Curbed writes:

Built by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe protégé A. James Speyer in 1953, the four-bedroom, three-bath main house that cantilevers over wooded ravines was later joined by a David Haid-designed pavilion/guest house that features a kitchen, bath, and four-car interior parking—with plenty of room for a red Ferrari provided you keep it from peeling out into the glass.

Yes, you could put four Ferraris in there. Check out the listing for more photos. Or to put in an offer.
