Bon Appetit Names Fat Rice The 4th Best New Restaurant In America

We've been fans of Abraham Conlon and Adrienne Lo since their days cooking underground dinners with X-Marx and their twists on the culinary traditions of Macau have earned raves from diners and critic alike. Conlon and Lo call it "Euro-Asian comfort food," since Macanese cuisine incorporates elements from Europe, the Far East, the Indian subcontinent and China.

Another restaurant that made Bon Appetit's list with a Chicago connection is Houston's The Pass & Provisions, helmed by former C-House chef Seth Siegel-Gardner. The Pass & Provisions made the list at number six.
