It's mid-August already? We couldn't tell with this Pacific Northwest summer we've been having but we hit the midway point of the month with more cool, unseasonable-for-Chicago weather that's been a hallmark of the summer. The mercury is expected to climb slowly into the mid-70s today while cumulus clouds form later in the day. The slight increase in temperature will set the stage for a warming trend heading into the weekend and next week where it will feel more like summer in Chicago and we can grouse about that.
