The Beer Temple has quickly established itself as one of Chicago's must-visit beer destinations, and their podcasts and videos are mandatory for anyone looking to learn more about what they stock and drink. On Saturday, Aug. 24, guests can learn all about Prairie Artisan Ales, join in the podcasting fun and taste some great beers, all in one afternoon.

Prairie Artisan Ales of Oklahoma has been getting a lot of attention, especially after they mounted a successful Kickstarter campaign to help build a new facility for making barrel-aged beers. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Prairie's brewmaster and co-founder, Chase Healey, will be recording a podcast with Chris Quinn at The Beer Temple. After the taping, there will be tastings, bites from The Pork Shoppe and, of course, plenty of chances to buy the beers. The event is free, and no RSVP is required.

The Beer Temple is at 3185 N. Elston Avenue.
