Cast Your Vote In The Tournament Of Dips

“I’m an all-American ranch dip guy, myself,” Seth Unger said when asked about his personal favorite dip. Unger, with the help of a few friends, has put together a “Tournament of Dips” bracket just in time for football season to determine what favorite dipping sauce for chips, breads, vegetables and meats is the people’s choice.
Unger hit upon the idea of the bracket after several combinations for dips during “dip your chip” parties at his job at Gensler, a design and architecture firm. Those discussions evolved into what Unger called “ongoing brain sessions” determining the categories and organizing the eight dips, sauces and other foodstuffs into the brackets
Unger said he hopes to move the bracketing along quickly with the winner to be determined in time for the kickoff to football season. Even though Unger is an avowed ranch fan, he knows his vote is but one of many. "When it comes down to it there are things on the bracket that are prime candidates to stage an upset" over old favorites, he said. "Maybe someone has a hankering for peanut sauce and rallies support for it."
