Thursday Afternoon Diversion: The Assumption Parish, Louisiana Sinkhole

Earlier this month a suspected salt dome cavern failure resulted in a sink hole forming in Assumption Parish, Louisiana that now measures 25 acres in size at the surface. This video was taken around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and shows just what residents are facing as the sinkhole continues to form. Those are some hearty cypresses claimed by the sinkhole.
