Today's Weather: Shake, Rattle And Roll

August has been an arid month around here but the current gray skies and rain threaten a break in the weather right now. Both Skilling Central and Accuweather predict a thunderstorm, maybe two, before the weather pulls back and things begin to cool overnight. Don't expect a flood, however. WGN's Chicago Weather Center says the rain won't be a "drought-buster." Meanwhile the high temps are expected to climb to the mid-80s.
