  • Street and Sanitation workers discovered a body in a trash can in Englewood this morning, blocks from a "Safe Passage" route. [Tribune]
  • An 11-year-old girl on the Northwest side was shot while sitting on her porch Sunday. The girl is recovering. [Sun-Times]
  • The mother of Tremaine Gallimore, charged with beating 44-year-old Michael Davis with a baseball bat and a pipe, says "he's a good kid." [DNAInfo Chicago]
  • A man and a woman were charged with arson in connection with a fire in the South Shore neighborhood Friday that caused a roof to collapse and displaced 10 people. [Fox Chicago]
  • Kurtis Worley of Addison pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of first-degree murder, domestic battery and armed violence in connection to the death of his wife Martha. Worley is also accused of injuring MArtha Worley's son in the attack. [Tribune]
