This morning is shaping up to be one of those "act like we've done this before" days. The National Weather Service has issued a "special weather statement" until 9 a.m. because there are some dense patches of fog across the area this morning. Once that lifts we're in store for mostly sunny skies, moderate humidities and highs in the upper 80s. The extended forecast for Labor Day Weekend sees the mercury dropping below 80 degrees but we're going to be uncomfortable for most of the weekend before we get there starting with a upward ratcheting of the humidity levels and severe heat indices Friday.
