Labor Day will be ideal weather but to get there we have to deal with today's forecast first and the signs aren't pretty. It's muggy outside now and the mercury is going to climb to the mid-90s. It's only the 10th time this month the official high temp is expected to reach past the 90-degree mark and several of those days have occurred in the past week. Otherwise, it's been a mild August. What we need is some rainfall and expect that to begin this afternoon. The rain will continue into the evening, the winds will shift to the northeast and a Saturday cooldown will commence.
