Happy Labor Day, everyone! The weather is perfect for grilling, lounging—practically everything except a day at the beach. The forecast from Skilling Central calls for plenty of sun peeking through pillowy clouds and highs in the mid-70s, setting the stage for a pleasant holiday away from the lake. The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazards statement and small craft advisory until 4 a.m. Tuesday. No swimming for you today unless you're in a (possibly heated) pool.
