Do This: Kegs For Kids 2013

Now in its fourth year, Kegs for Kids benefiting Helen C. Pierce Elementary School has become one of the better beer tasting events of late summer/early autumn. This year’s event from Noon until 5 p.m. Sept. 8 at Hopleaf, will feature more than 60 craft beer selections, a silent auction, food from Hopleaf and other local restaurants and maybe even a pig roast in Hopleaf’s backyard.

Tickets are $40 at kegsforkidschicago.com or $50 at the door, and all a proceeds go to benefit public school education at Helen C. Peirce Elementary School in Edgewater.
