Video: TV Reporter Doesn't Realize She's Interviewing Paul Westerberg

Riot Fest is coming to Chicago in a couple weeks and the highly anticipated reunion of The Replacements is one of the major stories coming out of the festival. The Chicago stop could also serve as a time for head Mat Paul Westerberg to get started on his Christmas shopping and, if the video below is an indication, he loves to impulse buy toys at drug stores.

Aaron Goodyear, who filmed it, writes, "On Thanksgiving Day in 2010 we randomly ran into Paul Westerberg of The Replacements who was doing some early Christmas shopping at a South Minneapolis Walgreens. Reporter Liz Collin had no idea who he was and Paul was having some fun with her."

On a serious note, we're impressed by Westerberg's haul from that Walgreens. He did some deep digging. Maybe we should give him our Christmas shopping list. reporters reading this post should take note of the screen grabs so they know who they're talking to when Westerberg is in town.
