Dimo's Introduces Malort Pizza

Anything involving Malort always gets our radar going, so when we heard that Dimo's was going to introduce a pizza made with Malort, we had to know more.

Dimo's tweeted about it yesterday.

DNAinfo got more information from Dimo's.

The featured, $3.75 slice at Dimo's includes shredded chicken thigh in a mole sauce with a splash of Malort, grilled pico de gallo and topped with an avocado tomatillo salsa. The Malort pairs well with the chocolate, [owner Dimitri] Syrkin-Nikolau said, and the spice of the salsa adds a nice kick. People are already buying up slices after hearing the word "Malort," Syrkin-Nikolau said. The Wicker Park location sold 32 slices in the four hours he worked on Monday, he said.

What will they think to add Malort to next? The special lasts through the end of the week.
