Registration is now open for Half Acre Beer Company’s fifth annual chili cook-off benefiting The Arts of Life. This year’s event, held at The Arts of Life’s Chicago studio at 2010 W. Carroll St. from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Nov. 2, raises much-needed money for the non-profit to continue its mission of helping people with developmental disabilities through artistic expression.

Chicagoist is once again proud to be a sponsor of this event along with Half Acre Beer Company, Black Dog Gelato and Big Audio. Last year’s event was packed and most everyone with full bellies and searching for antacid. Trophies will be awarded for People's Choice, Best Meat, Best Veggie and Judge's choice categories.
