Good Morning, everyone. Skilling Central says we're flirting with record heat today and considering we're supposed to be on a steady slide to autumn, that's not a good thing. The record high for this date is 95 degrees, set 30 years ago. WGN's Chicago Weather Center predicts a high of 96. If the humidity levels were a bit higher the weather may be more uncomfortable than what we'll actually get, but the heat indices will still reach triple digits in spots. Expect winds from the south-southwest gusting up to 30 mph today.

It's August weather in September, folks.
