Today's Weather: The Denouement

How much of a scorcher was Tuesday. According to the National Weather Service Chicago tied an official high temperature at O'Hare with yesterday's 95-degree reading. Things will cool down slightly today with a forecast high of around 90 degrees but the air will become more humid and rain will develop as the day progresses. Expect strong storms as we head into the evening before the clouds break, the skies clear and we descend into autumn, just in time for the weekend and Riot Fest.
