There’s Still Time To Browse Argyle Night Market

Hawking Little Saigon savories from the likes of Sun Wah BBQ and Hai Yen in addition to standard farmers’ market staples, the Argyle Night Market lends the prospect of radishes at dusk an almost illicit allure. Perhaps because farmers aren’t normally nocturnal creatures, you’re half convinced you’re buying tomatoes from the black market. Fringe benefits you won't find at Green City include the fact that you can sample fried fish balls and watch your pork all but spontaneously combust on a spit.

The vendor count has waned with the daylight, as have the street performers. But it’s still worth a visit, and the final markets take place this Thursday and next from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. between Sheridan and Kenmore. Take a look at some of what you'll find if you venture up north.
