It's a bright start to the morning across the Chicago area, folks. And cool, too after three days of hot, muggy weather. Expect the mercury to climb to the upper 70s today, a far cry from the high temperature record the city tied at O'Hare Tuesday. Skilling Central and Accuweather also call for rain in spots throughout the day with a greater chance for rain in the evening. Be careful on the lakefront, we have another small craft advisory and beach hazards statement in effect until 5 a.m. Saturday.
