Genre-spanning rockers DeVotchKa are making their way to Chicago to perform Riot Fest Saturday evening, and we’re pretty stoked about it. Many know the Denver-based quartet as the kids who wrote the score for Little Miss Sunshine, among other films, but we really got into them with the release of their last studio album, 100 Lovers. The gypsy punk collection is romantic and dizzying—a lush amalgamation of guitar, piano, violin, trumpet, theremin, accordion and string bass, not to mention the emotive vocals of frontman Nick Urata.

If you’re not going to the fest this year or if you’ve already got your heart set on seeing Guided By Voices (they share a time slot), worry not, because the act has scheduled a last-minute, late-night performance at City Winery for tonight. Doors are at 11 p.m., but the show doesn’t start until midnight, so get your nap on in advance. In the meantime, check out this video for “100 Other Lovers”:

DeVotchka plays tonight at City Winery, 1200 W Randolph, 12 a.m., $18, 21+
