Weekend Playlist: There's A Riot (Fest) Goin' On

Consider this playlist your official Riot Fest cheat sheet for the remainder of the weekend.

This a mix of the upstart Chicago festival's three days of the 2013 festival. It ranges from the obvious classic hits, to the brand new bands (what up, Twin Peaks!) making a splash, and all with an anti-establishment vibe embedded in even in the most laid-back of songs. ("Sentimental Man" by The Dismemberment Plan, an excellent track, though hardly anyone's idea of a punk rager, calls into question religious fundamentalism and the afterlife.)
