Another Chicago brewery has gone from a twinkle in a beer-makers eye to a real bottled brand to an actual brick-and-mortar shop. Pipeworks Brewing, winner of our midwest beer bracket and one of the best new breweries in America according to RateBeer.com, has announced that they are opening a bottle shop.

The announcement was posted to their Facebook page last Friday.

We should be filling growlers and selling barrel-aged beer and merchandise from 1673 N. Western in the beginning of 2014! So get ready for lower ABV pipeworks beer! Stupid-fresh PW hop bombs and all the crazy T-Shirts you can layer on to survive Chicago's frost!

A fun little tidbit if you haven't tried Pipeworks beers: Wine Discount Center on Elston carries the entire line. The new shop will be in the former location of the Rio Jiu Jitsu Academy, which is moving to a new and larger location. Mark your calendars now.
