Pencil This In: Reviving the Rust Belt - The Future of the Industrial Midwest and Chicago

The Chicago Public Library and The Society of Midland Authors present a fascinating, lively panel discussion tonight featuring authors Edward McClelland, Edward E. Gordon and Larry Bennett, moderated by Robert Loerzel. the four will discuss the future of the Rust Belt and Chicago. Each of these authors has written extensively about how industrialization transformed the Midwest and Chicago and they're all qualified to speculate on what lies ahead.
The discussion begins at 6 p.m. at the Harold Washington Library's Cindy Pritzker Auditorium. (400 S. State St.)
