Pencil This In: Bridgeport Record Fair

2013_9_20_PTI.jpg Get your vinyl fix from noon until 6 p.m. Sept. 21 with a special one-day only pop-up record fair, The Vinyl Solution, at Maria's Packaged Goods and Community Bar.

Maria's enclosed patio will feature a variety of choice dealers and collectors peddling the finest black gold for all music lovers and as well as some deep gems for the diggers as well. Also, expect a sweaty rotation of Chicago's finest selectors on the decks throwing down some of their rare treasures, plus posters and prints for sale, vinyl Art, and tasty brews to ward of that dusty digs from the Maria's bartending crew.

They'll also be screening rare videos as a visual backdrop in the main bar area including such little-seen treasures like "Surprise Partie," a 1968 French TV show featuring such talent as The Troggs, Jacques Dutronc, Joe Cocker, Françoise Hardy, Aphrodite's Child, Antoine, Johnny Hallyday, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, The Small Faces, P.P. Arnold, Booker T & The MGs and Pink Floyd. (960 W. 31st St.)
