It's Not Too Early To Start Ordering Your Thanksgiving Pie

One would think that late September would be too early for a bakery to start taking orders for Thanksgiving pies but that’s exactly what Bang Bang Pie Shop is doing. The Logan Square bakery announced via Twitter a few moments ago they’re taking orders for Thanksgiving pies online.

Bang Bang is offering three pies for the holiday: an apple crumble featuring Michigan apples and a leaf lard pastry crust; a roasted pumpkin pie with house made graham cracker crust; and chocolate pecan pie with house made graham cracker crust. Pickup dates and times are Nov. 25, 26 and 27 and, what the hell, order some Bang Bang biscuits for good measure.

Fans of Hoosier Mama Pie Company will be happy to know the West Town bakery will begin taking holiday pie orders Oct. 1.
