Expect to see this logo celebrating Wrigley Field's 100th anniversary everywhere around the Friendly Confines next season. In fact, it's already available in special sections of The Cubs Store on Clark street and Wrigley Field gift shops.

The logo was designed by Brandon Ort of New Bremen, Ohio. Ort, a native of Lansing, Mich., is a Cubs fan in a family of Detroit Tigers supporters and told the Tribune "we would drive into Indiana to see family, and take the train to Chicago to see the Cubs."

Ort's design was the winning entry in the Cubs' "Wrigley Field 100 Logo" contest. We find the logo to be a classic reference to Wrigley Field's landmark status without being fussy. Submissions for the contest were held earlier this year and you can view Ort's logo and the other winning submissions here.
