Popular food and fashion market Dose Market returns this weekend, moving from the River East Arts Center to Wicker Park’s brand-new The Chop Shop (2033 W. North Ave.) beginning this Sunday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Previously a monthly artisanal emporium, the market will now offer a higher dosage with weekly pop-ups featuring a different theme and vendor array for the next twelve weeks. Visitors can expect to find garments, jewelry, design objects, and food paired with themes like “Masculin Feminin,” “Art Look,” and “Kitchen Bliss.”

This Sunday’s theme is “Dose Redux,” promising products that are a mix of “high and low, vintage and new, healthy and seriously sinful.” The 24 vendors on this weekend’s roster include Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Solemn Oath Brewery, jewelry by Laura Lombardi, vintage finds from Humboldt House, and natural goods from hidden folk.

This isn’t Dose Market’s first remix. Last summer, three of Dose’s co-founders left the project and went on to found Fete Chicago. Weekly markets seem to be trending in the neighborhood, with the food-focused NOSH at Wicker Park held Saturdays just down the street.

Admission to Dose Market is $5 daily or $30 for a season pass. A $45 season pass is also available with a limited edition tote bag.
