Music Video Of The Day: Tricky 'Puppy Toy'

This weekend we received the sad news that Tricky’s upcoming show next week at the Metro has been canceled. Again. The UK trip-hop master was suppose to visit Chicago earlier this year, but due to visa issues had to reschedule. Thanks to those ongoing visa issues, his tour is having to cancel a handful of U.S. dates including the Chicago one.

This is a major bummer since the last time he was schedule to perform at Lincoln Hall in December 2010, the show was canceled due to weather conditions. We’re starting to think it isn’t in the cards for us Chicago Tricky fans to see him live. Excuse us as we console ourselves with a favorite.

Since you apparently can't watch music videos on television anymore, we'll showcase one here daily. There's no rhyme or reason, time or season, to which video we'll choose. Have a suggestion? Contact us at tips@chicagoist.com.
