When the dusty hot air starts to come out of your vents, that means the fountain of local produce we enjoyed all summer is about to run dry and we're in for a few lean months of potatoes, beets and squash. Luckily, Terzo Piano is offering one last taste of summer.

Tonight at 6 p.m. Terzo Piano is hosting their fourth annual Farm to Fork Fest. The main event is a four-course dinner filled with products from Majestic Nursery, Living Waters Farm, Pinn-Oak Ridge Farm, Seedling Farm, Capriole and Vander Mill Ciders. But that's not all. Are you a fan of cooking competitions? Tony Mantuano (chef/owner of Spiaggia, Terzo Piano and Bar Toma) will be facing off against one of his most gifted mentorees, Meg Colleran Sachs, in an epic quickfire challenge.

There's also a meet and greet with the farmers who grew your dinner (complete with drinks and passed appetizers) and an appearance by author Jeanne Nolan.

Tickets are $99 and include the dinner, all events and a full beer and wine selection. Call 312-443-8650 for tickets and more information.
